Ooh! I saw this one and was tempted.
It was good..
The Bird Box
Is this the one where they can’t open their eyes? I think I heard about it on a podcast I listen to. Sounded creepy!
So creepy and good!
I might give this one a go first! It makes me nervous though LOL ?
Did anyone read “the secrets she keeps”? Thoughts
That’s another one I was interested in! I’d love to hear feedback as well.
Behind Closed Doors by BA Paris, And The Trees Crept In by Dawn Kurtagich
Loooove the trees crept in. That one stays with you, that and birdbox
And The Trees Crept In scared the shit out of me at some points. I just downloaded Bird Box… I’m pretty excited.
If you’re up for a classic, ‘Rebecca’ by Daphne de Maurier is wonderful.
BEHIND HER EYES by Sarah Pinborough
Old school, Red Dragon
Before I Go To Sleep,
Little Black Lies,
I’m Thinking of Ending Things
Yes! That last one was Good!!
@Samantha it just knocked my socks off! Very different! When I finished it, I was tempted to read it from back to front. Were you? I think it would have worked that way too!
@Zoe I did go back, flipping through it ?
The Couple Next Door
The creepiest and scariest is Chelsea Cain’s- Archie Sheridan & Gretchen Lowell series. Book 1 is Heartsick. Don’t read it when home alone at night if you are easily scared
I really wish she’d come out with another in that series
I have read 3 are there more ??
@Rosemary yeah, there are six! ? happy reading!
Thanks will check them out . ??
Loved the wife between us!
Me too! Twists I didn’t see coming!
@Meredith…What level of creepy are the ones you listed in your post?
They are like single white female creepy ….
@Meredith I’ll have to evaluate that…my creepy scale is pretty strict! As in I freak myself out a lot…
@Stephanie I do that too, sometimes!
Chris Carter’s Robert Hunter series. Seriously great books.
The bad mother – great thriller
Shutter Island is a brilliant psychological thriller
I saw this movie! I did enjoy it. Had no idea it was a book!
I have just started reading Behind Closed Doors by B A Paris and enjoying it so far. It’s about a seemingly perfect couple who have everything!
Great book!
Anything by John Marrs
“The Silence of the Lambs” by Thomas Harris
He said She said – sorry can’t remember the author but some good twists
The couple next door
The Woman in Cabin 10
On my list!
@Lisa I really enjoyed it! Hope you do too!
Read this and enjoyed it!
@Molly thanks. I’m on a wait list at the Library.
Marathon Man, or anything by William Goldman. Might be a thriller. He hides stuff from you in the book that couldn’t be hidden in the movie.
The Good Daughter or Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter
@Lisa books to add to our ever growing to read list!
Good suggestions!
Try Patricia Cornwell. Couldn’t put the entire series down.
Harvest home is a good one
Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane and Hannibal Lecter series by Thomas Harris
The Daughter – Lucy Dawson.
Oh and the night shift by Stephen king, it’s a collection of short stories and its great
I enjoy Jeffery Deaver’s books nice thrillers with some “did not see coming’ twists
Right now I’m reading “Before I Go to Sleep”
Finished the book, i wouldn’t call it a thriller, but there is suspense. Nothing world changing though.
Into the darkest corner by Elizabeth Haynes
