Caraval by Stephanie Garber was my first read of the year and it did NOT disappoint! The cover is gorgeous, the story captured my imagination and I read this sucker in one sitting.
This is a fantasy wrapped in a game, one where the characters (and readers) should trust no one, as everyone who’s playing the game is out to win it and everyone who’s not playing is lying.
