29949927One Minute to Midnight (Black Ops: Automatik #2) by Nico Rosso

Romantic suspense, ebook, 199 pages; published July 18, 2016 by Carina Press; source: publisher

Two extremely capable people working together in an undercover situation, throw in some heated glances and more than a little lust and you’ve got a hot, explosive situation once they finally get together. Most excellent. 4 stars

27015400Gone Too Deep (Seach and Rescue #3) by Katie Ruggle

Romantic suspense, ebook, 448 pages; published August 2, 2016 by Sourcebooks Casablanca; source: publisher

Quiet mountain man takes city girl into the mountains to track missing father…what could go wrong? Actually, what could go right! George is my kind of mountain man–I’ll let him zip me up anytime (my jacket, you pervs!). 4 stars

28188427Bought for the Greek’s Revenge by Lynne Graham

Romance, paperback, 192 pages; published May 24, 2016 by Harlequin; source: publisher

I had to read this one. I mean, just look at the title. Awesome. The story was a fast read, pretty typical for the Harlequin Presents line. What’s really cool is that this is Lynne Graham’s 100th book with Harlequin. Amazing! 3 stars

26031222Return of the Bad Boy (Second Chance #4) by Jessica Lemmon

Romance, paperback, 416 pages; published April 26, 2016 by Forever; source: publisher

Enjoy this series and Lemmon’s deft touch with feel-good, sweet romances. This installment is no different. Asher and Gloria have great chemistry (though Gloria is a bit of a sourpuss a lot of the time). Asher more than makes up for it, though. 3.5 stars

27170163The Billionaire Bachelor (Billionaire Bad Boys #1) by Jessica Lemmon

Romance, paperback, 384 pages; published June 28, 2016 by Forever; source: publisher

A simple business contract between two consenting adults…of COURSE there’s going to be smexytimes and lurve (this is a romance, after all). Lemmon delivers on another fun story, complete with rich “manwhore” and the woman who tames him (it’s like Victorian rakes all over again!). 4 stars

25776197‘Til Death Do Us Part by Amanda Quick

Historical romance, ebook, 342 pages; published April 19, 2016 by Berkley; source: publisher

Been a while since I’ve read one of this author’s books but she delivered. Excellent, interesting characters and a creepy mystery (why would someone send the MC funeral flowers or a black mirror?) complete with an enjoyable romance make for a solid read. 4 stars

  1. i always love these short and concise reviews. I have to admit i’m sort of in the mood for a sexy book….but how many billionaire bachelor reads can a girl really put herself through in her lifetime? lol.
