26166530Regency Makeover III: An Exquisite Marriage by Darcie Wilde

Historical Romance, 174 pages, ebook; published May 17, 2016 by InterMix; source: publisher

This trifecta of wee stories about girls working to overcome the stigma that society saddled them with and find love at the same time was quite adorable and, even better, they came out one after the other, making them easier to devour. 3.5 stars

24453024Raging Sea (Stone Circles #2) by Terri Brisbin

Fierce Viking descendants, gorgeous Orkney Islands, fantastical powers — the second book in this series packs a punch as Ran and Soren battle evil and get a second chance at love at the same time. 3.5 stars

25894009Blazing Earth (Stone Circles #3) by Terri Brisbin

Historical Romance, 352 pages, paperback; published April 5, 2016 by Signet; source: publisher

(These are not standalones, FYI.) Tensions continue to build as both the Big Bad and Warriors gather their forces in prep for the final battle. Slow build romance caps off story. 3.5 stars

51HXZPDawkL._SX301_BO1,204,203,200_Viking Warrior Rising (Viking Warriors #1) by Asa Marie Bradley

Paranormal Romance, 308 pages, paperback; published November 3, 2015 by Sourcebooks Casablanca; source: publisher

Ah, immortal Vikings here to save the day. What could possibly go wrong? Naya and Leif are both strong personalities and it’s fun to see them battle one another. Wish there was a bit more steam but a fun story overall. 4 stars

27132053An Enchanted Spring (Mists of Fate #2) by Nancy Scanlon

Historical Time-Traveling Romance, 250 pages, paperback; published May 24, 2016 by Diversion Books; source: publisher

Medieval warrior in a suit. Yum. Aiden plays the knight rescuing a damsel who doesn’t really need to be rescued as much as he things. Interesting story, missing the heat/passion I so love in my romance. 3.5 stars
