Highly enjoyed master/servant storyline filled w/ sparks, a take-charge woman & a relatively easygoing French lord. #10 but can read as standalone. 4 stars.

Read many S. Jordan’s that I’ve loved…not this one, not so much. Violet just annoyed me and, while Will wanted more from her, turnabout wasn’t happening. *sigh* 3 stars.

Good if a bit hurried ending to a great series. Jack Dandy reigns as my fave character (tho he’s secondary in this book). Lots of buildup w/out a lot of follow-through. 3 1/2 stars.

With husband off to war, Katherine rules the roost but, when he returns, it’s a battle between both for the upper hand. V. Taming of the Shrew. Helps to read #1 first. 3 1/2 stars.

Was hoping for an alpha swashbuckling but got…David. Kind of a pushover. And poor Amelia, a girl with the worst luck ever (felt for her!). At least they got an HEA! 3 stars.
