I read fast. Like, a-book-a-day-fast. Because of that superpower, I’m always behind on my reviews. But, taking inspiration from Twitter, I realized I can talk about a lot of books in just 140 characters. (Of course, I’m not the first or only one to do this: check out Karen @ For What It’s Worth’s Short and Tweet reviews and TweetViews run by three librarians.)

22847538Rock Courtship (Rock Kiss #1.5) by Nalini Singh
(Contemporary Romance, 125 pages, Sept. 2014, TKA Distribution)

Cute romance–David’s in love with Thea who won’t get involved b/c he’s a client.  So he has to prove himself with dirty talk and promises. *fans self*

23172527Blamed (Blood Money #1) by Edie Harris
(Romantic Suspense, 210 pages, Nov. 2014, Carina Press)

Ex-assassin girl wants a normal life but that’s not in the cards…yet. Sexy British spy+contract on her life=romance and excitement. Nice!

15810914Rogue Spy (Spymasters #5) by Joanna Bourne

(Historical Romantic Suspense, 336 pages, Nov. 2014, Berkley)

Well-plotted, fast-paced historical spy novel with strong romance. Bit dark, possibility of death looms. Like how Pax and Cami look out for one another.

20821265The Hot Zone (Rainshadow #3) by Jayne Castle
(Paranormal Romance, 338 pages, August 2014, Jove)

Plenty of romance, weird paranormal stuff and great villains. Quick, fun read. Now, how do I get my hands on a dust bunny like Lyle?
