Stay up all night with the sexy rockers in Stage Dive, the epic New Adult series from New York Times bestselling author Kylie Scott, author of Lick and Play.

As the lead singer of Stage Dive, Jimmy is used to getting whatever he wants, whenever he wants it, whether it's booze, drugs, or women. However, when a PR disaster serves as a wake-up call about his life and lands him in rehab, he finds himself with Lena, a new assistant to keep him out of trouble.

Lena's not willing to take any crap from the sexy rocker and is determined to keep their relationship completely professional, despite their sizzling chemistry. But when Jimmy pushes her too far and Lena leaves, he realizes that he may just have lost the best thing that ever happened to him.

FIRST DATE: Jimmy, you’re kind of an asshole, aren’t you? Granted, you’re gorgeous and talented and are the lead singer of the rock band Stage Dive but that doesn’t excuse your assholic behavior.  Especially when people are just trying to help you with your rehab and recovery. Good thing you’ve got people around you that love you and won’t put up with your shizz. And people who hired Lena to be your babysitter…er…assistant. Because she’s not going to put up with a single second of your bad behavior.

SECOND DATE: So, Jimmy’s just out of rehab and, while he’s determined to stay clean and sober, he’s also making life difficult for those around him. Enter Lena, a smart woman who gives just as good as she gets, unwilling to cut Jimmy any slack just because he’s a rock god. The battle of wits between the two of them is epic and so good. And the heat…holy cow. It just flows off the page. Especially since it’s repressed, as Jimmy tries to freeze her out and Lena tries to stay professional while living in the same house as that gorgeous, cocky man. And, once they get it on, the fireworks just don’t stop. I believe the word is “cock-struck”. (Yeah, seriously. This is a direct quote. Makes me snort every time.)

THIRD DATE: This is the third book in the Stage Dive series and, while it can be read on its own, it’s all the better if you read the first two first. Because these guys are in a band together, grew up together and are closer than blood (though Jimmy and David are actually brothers), they pretty much live in one another’s pockets. Plus, the repartee between all of them is most excellent. Especially as they give Jimmy shit for his horrible behavior, his treatment of Lena and his heart as he falls hard for her. Sure, he’s an asshole (I’d probably wind up kicking him in the balls more than once if I had to deal with him — much better to read it and Lena’s handling of it all). But he’s a fun asshole.

  1. Cock-struck?!! LMAO! I love it. This sounds like all kind of fun, Mary. I’d probably want to kick this guy in the balls more than a few times, like you, but I can usually enjoy a fun asshole, too. That could have a double meaning, totally unintended, but, lol! I’ll have to check out this smutty fun. Great date, Mary. 🙂

  2. Cock-struck? Enough said.

Jimmy sounds like one of those guys I’d just love to hate, at least at first. If you add to that the fact that he’s a rock god… well, where do I sign up. A strong heroine that doesn’t cut him any slack is exactly what he needs.
    Great review, Mary!

I DIE, MARY!!! Cock-struck. Hahahahahaha! I LOVE IT:) And fun assholes I’m good with. I enjoy a good cocky bad boy as much as the next girl, but there have to be some redeeming qualities as well. Like he recognizes that’s he’s an asshole. That makes a big difference:) So going to give this series a try!

  4. I read this last night but I didn’t like it as much as you did. Surprisingly enough I loved Jimmy, even when he was an ass, but the whole thing dragged out too long and the hot/cold drove me nuts after a while.

Play and Mal are still my favorite but I liked Lead more than the first book.

  5. LOL. Well, if he’s gonna be an asshole, at least he’s a fun asshole. GAH. I don’t know about this one, Mary. I really did not like the first book in this series, and I’ve heard that the second book is WAY better, and this one looks worth a shot too, but . . . I REALLY did not Lick . . . Maybe though . . . I’ll put it on my wishlist 😉

  6. Okay, I’m making up for my lack of comments all at once. 😉

ANYWAY, I freaking adore this series. And I adore this book, because I wasn’t actually sure that I could fall for Jimmy, knowing the things he’s done and said. But man… Jimmy who is still a bit of a jackass but is trying to make up for it? Jimmy who is secretly vulnerable? Okay, yeah, I fell for him. Granted, I would never be able to deal with him the way Lena does. I can’t wait for the next book!
