Write On Review-a-Thon

From The Book Vixen: “The Write On Review-a-Thon is a monthly event created and hosted by Brianna at The Book Vixen. It’s 2 days dedicated to getting reviews done, whether you have one review to write or 30+. This edition of the review-a-thon takes place all day Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 22. Let’s get those reviews done!”

Well, I certainly need to do this! I may take the prize for the most unwritten reviews. *deep breath* So, here’s my list:

1. The Lonesome Young by Lucy Connors
2. The Falconer by Elizabeth May
3. The Chase by Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg
4. Frisky Business by Tawna Fenske
5. Romancing the Duke by Tessa Dare
6. The Wicked We Have Done by Sarah Harian
7. Running Like a Girl by Alexandra Heminsley
8. Bad Boy and Wildflowers pt. I and II by Maya Rodale
9. The Queen’s Choice by Cayla Kluver
10. Ghost Seer by Robin D. Owens
11. Falling Light by Thea Harrison
12. The Sharpest Blade by Sandy Williams
13. Bang by Lisa McMann
14. Parasite by Mira Grant
15. Uninvited by Sophie Jordan
16. Wild by Cheryl Strayed
17. What I Was Doing While You Were Breeding by Kristin Newman
18. Home Sweet Anywhere by Lynne Martin
19. Perfect Together by Carly Phillips
20. The Tinker King by Tiffany Trent
21. Sea of Shadows by Kelley Armstrong
22. Carniepunk by Rachel Caine, et al
23. Taming a Wild Scot by Rowan Keats
24. The Countess Confessions by Jillian Hunter
25. Entwined by Kristen Callihan
26. Indelible by Dawn Metcalf
27. The Iron Traitor by Julie Kagawa
28. Landry Park by Bethany Hagen
29. Royally Lost by Angie Stanton
30. Panic by Lauren Oliver
31. Vivian Divine is Dead by Lauren Sabel
32. Night School by CJ Daughtery

Did I give any of you planners a heart attack with that list? It is out of control, I know this. But, as many are going to be mini reviews and I have notes jotted down for almost all of them, it’s doable. Crazy but doable.

UPDATE: Well, I got a bunch done but not as many as I’d hoped. Life intruded. Darn parents wanting to feed me my favorite meal then sit around the fire and talk! πŸ™‚

  1. So I normally try to avoid exclamations like this, but DUDE. I was planning on combing the list and letting you know which reviews I was most looking forward to, but there are too many, LOL. I’ll have to content myself with Parasite b/c I love Seanan McGuire and I have Feed, but I’ve never actually read anything from her other self. And frankly, the whole concept of Parasite FREAKS me out. I realize it probably freaks most people out, but I’ve literally had nightmares about that X-Files episode with the parasite that got loose when some scientists were doing something in Antarctica and defrosted it from an iceberg . . .

  2. Part of me says “Go-Mary-Go!” and the other part is like “Are you crazy?” lol *hand wipes brow* If you have notes and plan on doing mini reviews, I bet you can hit these out of the ball park. You always write such great reviews πŸ™‚ Good luck!

  3. My heart did start going into stress-related spasms the further down this list I got Mary! That is a lot of reviews, but you are a machine and I have no doubt you’ll show that list who’s boss in no time. I can’t wait to see what you thought of The Falconer, I absolutely adored it (aside from the cliffhanger at the end). It had a Fever series vibe for me and I’m always up for anything that feels like the Fever series!

    GOOD LUCK MY FRIEND!

  4. ZOMG! I think I have 5 or so (unless I keep reading and not writing lol)

Making a list like that would have me curling into a ball and crying.

    good luck!

  5. Oh my lord! *faints* Yes, you made my heart stop. I write my reviews within 48 hrs. ALWAYS! LOL I will say that last month I began experiencing review burn out, and was writing them but they felt forced, so I switch up and did different type of review styles. I even did a poem..no lie. It helped immensely.

  6. That list of yours is seriously sick. I think it would give me nightmares. LOL Whenever I fall 3 behind, I start stressing, 5 and I flip out. Good luck with your goals! I’m just glad it’s you and not me. Hehe πŸ˜‰

  7. Oh my god!! hahaha. I don’t know how you do it! If i don’t write a review soon after I finish a book it’s a lost cause. I start confusing characters and plot lines with books I read after – especially if it was a similar genre. And then reviewing is so hard! >.< I wanna see our review of Vivian Divine is Dead though so write that one first! πŸ˜›

  8. Good luck Mary! You can so do this! Just think of all those books that you can read, when you have a lot of these done! *fist pump*

  9. HOLY COW! I go crazy if I don’t review within a day of finishing a book. Review Falconer and Panic please! Good luck getting your reviews written!
