Started by FeliciaChristi and Amanda, Top Off Tuesday is where a bunch of us share hot-hot-hot book covers (some we’ve read, some we’ve just drooled on). Head over to Felicia’s blog to share your ToT link and see what everyone else is swooning over.

I like the tats but this dude’s a little scary, even with the do-me-now pit shot with a Russian backdrop. And, really, I don’t read m/m, as this one is. So, why this one? It’s the blurb and the product warning that made me giggle and pick this one for ToT. Elbow grease and orgies. *snort*

PRINCE OF TRICKS (Demons of Elysium #1) by Jane Kindred
Paranormal Romance
375 pages, ebook
Expected publication: January 7, 2014
Publisher: Samhain Publishing

When desire rises, angels will fall. One, by one, by one…

Over the past century, Belphagor has made a name for himself in Heaven’s Demon District as a cardsharp, thief, and charming rogue.

Though the airspirit is content with his own company, he enjoys applying the sweet sting of discipline to a willing backside. Angel, demon, even the occasional human. He’s not particular. Until a hotheaded young firespirit steals his purse—and his heart. Now he’s not sure who owns whom.

A former rent boy and cutpurse from the streets of Raqia, Vasily has never felt safer than in the arms—and at the feet—of the Prince of Tricks. He’s just not sure if Belphagor returns those feelings. There’s only one way to find out, but using a handsome, angelic duke to stir Belphagor’s jealousy backfires on them both.

When the duke frames Vasily for an attempted assassination as part of a revolutionary conspiracy, Belphagor will do whatever it takes to clear his boy’s name and expose the real traitor. Because for the first time in his life, the Prince of Tricks has something to lose.

  1. Hmm…the naming conventions seem kind of silly. Raqia seems a little too similar to Russia. Obviously it’s supposed to be that but they could just call it Russia. Of course, m/m set in Russia is interesting given all the political turmoil regarding that in Russia lately.

  2. The product warning is the greatest thing ever. That is a whole lot of m’s in there! Which is actually kind of surprising given the synopsis doesn’t suggest any more than two m’s. WHERE ARE THE OTHER M’S COMING FROM MARY?!

  3. I like the background a lot! And the product warning certainly gets a persons attention! And Whoa, that’s a lot of m’s!

  4. Mmmmmmmm. What else is there to say?! I’ve read my fair share of m/m romance, but never paranormal, I’m not quite sure why. To be fair, I don’t read PNR regardless of the characters’ gender. This sounds great, though, and OMG he looks good on that cover.

  5. Wow that warning is hilariously awesome! So many m’s in that description! Shouldn’t we see more of them on the cover? That’s my sole complaint about this cover. NEEDS MORE M’S!
