Started by FeliciaChristi and Amanda, Top Off Tuesday is where a bunch of us share hot-hot-hot book covers (some we’ve read, some we’ve just drooled on). Head over to Felicia’s blog to share your ToT link and see what everyone else is swooning over.

This looks like a man who’s having a very good time on his own…on a beach. In jeans. At least he’s well-sculpted. (But I’m wondering about the back of his head. Is that a mini-ponytail? Or does he have a pointy little head? Just curious.)

EAST OF ECSTASY (Hearts of the Anemoi #2) by Laura Kaye
Paranormal Romance
368 pages, paperback
Expected publication: April 22, 2014
Publisher: Entangled Select

Annalise Fallston made peace with postponing her big-city dreams to care for her ill father, but lately she’s been filled with a restlessness not even her beloved painting dispels. Worse, the colors don’t speak to her as they always have, and all her efforts produce dark, foreboding images of a dangerous man and a terrifying future.

Devlin Eston, black-souled son of the evil Anemoi Eurus, is the only one who can thwart his father’s plan to overthrow the Supreme God of Wind and Storms. But first, Dev must master the unstable powers he’s been given. Distrusted and shunned by his own divine family, he never expected to find kindness and passion in the arms of a mortal.

But Devlin’s love puts Annalise in the path of a catastrophic storm, and in the final Armageddon showdown between the Anemoi and Eurus, sacrifices will be made, hearts broken, and lives changed forever…or lost.

  1. Totally a Mini Tail –uhm Mini Ponytail on the back of his head. And yeah he’s looking a little awkward standing there … weird!

  2. Yes this is quite awkward, but fortunately still abtastic. Not sure what’s happening with the hair, i’m hoping it’s just mini ponytail instead of pointy conehead.

  3. I adore Laura Kaye (never read her books, but she’s a local author and I’ve met her a few times – she’s a total sweetie). Yeah, the pose is a little odd, but the boy is still hot and this girl is happy to stare. 😀

  4. Oooo a side profile this week, that’s something new and different! I like it. Minus the ponytail though, if that’s what it is. He does appear to be having a grand time on his own, doesn’t he? I think I could probably help him have a better time though if I was on that cover too. Just saying.

  5. I’m curious about what’s going on at his back. Is it the shadow of his other arm?? It looks super awkward.

Not digging the pose or the pony-braid thingy, or the pose, and yet it’s still a pretty good cover compared to a lot of others. 😉

  6. I’m not a huge fan of long flowing hair on guys. But that one looks like he can pull off the man-bun with ease. I wonder how long the model had to hold that awkward pose? I like that his face isn’t fully showing, so I could imagine it how I want. But what if he’s bald on top and only has long side hair? THAT WOULD BE SCARY!
