Started by FeliciaChristi and Amanda, Top Off Tuesday is where a bunch of us share hot-hot-hot book covers (some we’ve read, some we’ve just drooled on). Head over to Felicia’s blog to share your ToT link and see what everyone else is swooning over.

I’m still in Scottish mode and stumbled across this one recently. There’s just something about a nice, strong back, isn’t there? I do wonder about his grip on his sword, though. Isn’t he worried about losing some fingers? Maybe he’s too manly to be worried about things like that…

Historical Romance with hot Scots
333 pages, paperback
Available now (October 2011)
Publisher: St. Martin’s Paperbacks

In Love and War

The fierce and powerful Laird of War, Lachlan MacDonald has conquered so many men on the battlefield—and so many women in the bedroom—that he is virtually undefeated. But one unlucky tryst with a seductive witch has cursed him forever. Now, any women he makes love to will be doomed for eternity.

In Danger and Desire

Lady Catherine is a beautiful lass of elite origin—or so she is told. Suffering from amnesia, she is desperate to find the truth about who she really is…or, at the very least, meet someone who inspires an intense memory or emotion. When she first lays eyes on Lachlan MacDonald, Catherine has a sixth sense that he holds the key that will unlock her past—and maybe even her heart. But how could she know that the passion she ignites in this lusty warrior’s heart could consume—and destroy—them both?

  1. Didn’t you know that any man with those kind of muscles has magical, quick-clotting blood? “Sharp edges? No worries.” Duhhh.

    😛

  2. Ooh love this one! We very rarely ever focus on the back on these covers. But unless he is secretly some kind of fast healing paranormal Scottish hottie, he needs to lighten up on that sword. There are other ways he can put his hands to use…. 🙂 Thanks for sharing yet another gorgeous piece of eye candy! And after that synopsis I think I might actually be able to tear my eyes away from the cover and crack into the story as well (though it will be tough.) 🙂

  3. Oh yeah, real men don’t accidentally chop off their fingers. 😉 I love the background in this one, makes it tell more of a story, I guess.

  4. I’m really not digging his hair… weird colour! Thankfully he has some other nice attributes. 😉

This one sounds so fun, though… I deffo need to read some more Scottish type romances soon.
