Started by FeliciaChristi and Amanda, Top Off Tuesday is where a bunch of us share hot-hot-hot book covers (some we’ve read, some we’ve just drooled on). Head over to Felicia’s blog to share your ToT link and see what everyone else is swooning over.

This is *such* a cheesy cover, I just had to share it with you. He kind of looks like the YMCA biker dude, doesn’t he? And what’s with the moony look on the girl’s face? Eep!

Rebekah “Beck” Damian runs a demonoid bar where everyone’s welcome—even a reformed flesheater who’s strictly vegetarian, a musical ghost who’s looking for a piano bar, and a feline harbinger of doom named Wampus Kitty who’s scaring the customers. So when a big strapping demon-hunter walks into the bar, Beck knows it’s not the end of the world. She’ll treat him like any other customer.

If only she could. Conall Dalvahni is the toughest, meanest, sexiest demon-hunter Beck’s ever seen—and she’s finding it hard to hide her attraction. As far as Conall’s concerned, the feeling is mutual. But how can he trust a beautiful half-demon babe like Beck—when her demonic friends have the perfect weapon to destroy every hunter on earth?

Don’t let the uber-cheesy cover fool you — this book is great! With fantastically quick repartee between the characters, a super-hot alpha male (though you wouldn’t know it to look at him on this cover) and a fun story, this story will keep you zipping through the pages and giggling as Beck and Conall fall in love.

  1. *giggles* What are they doing to these books with these horrible covers!!! I mean.. ugh .. yes I get it .. we need a naked guy on the cover.. Still!

  2. This is actually a very fun series. I have read the first two and they had me in fits of giggles. I have this one but haven’t read it yet 😉

The funny thing is the cover actually fits the story because these guys are CLUELESS!

Though the YMCA thing is right on target LOL

  3. LMAO; he totally DOES look like the YMCA dude, and the girl kinda looks like a silly version of Kate Middleton, if you squint hard enough. But sometimes cheesy covers hide great stories and I totally believe you that it’s true for this one as well.

  4. It’s amazing that guy manages to look hot in spite of his Village People costume, but somehow he pulls it off. The girl is awful though! She looks like she’s waiting to be announced homecoming queen. Such a randomly cobbled together cover. But the story does sound amazing. And if you focus on just the abs, it’s all ok. 🙂

  5. Yeah, he’s more sweater vest than leather vest. The look doesn’t really work for him, or his expression. I think that the girl is laughing at him but trying not to. That’s why she’s making such a weird face.

  6. See, that book actually sounds pretty kick ass, but you’re right, that cover just makes me laugh… her expression is just terrible, though I don’t blame her, because that guy is just so cheesetastic, no matter how hot he is.
