  1. The Hunger Games was banned for having Satanic elements? I don’t remember Satan, or the worship of him, in there at all:) I’ll give them the violence though. Love that series so much:)

  2. My favorite is Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma. Also, I love Harry Potter and The Hunger Games series. 🙂

    Thank you for the giveaway!!

  3. Suz Reads

I loved The Giver and the Hunger Games trilogy! Thanks for this amazing giveaway – I would love to win!

  4. There are so many on the list that I have read…Huck Finn, Tom Sawyer, Color Purple…I read a lot of em in school, because they were required readings.

  5. I am laughing so so so hard at some of the reasons these books were banned. Like the mommy is pregnant book. Oh it talks about sex huh? That is SHOCKING. Same with Hunger Games. How in the world is that anti-family??? Katniss goes into the games to save her sister. *sigh* I still think banning books at all is ridiculous.

  6. My favorite banned books are Harry Potter,Vampire Academy,Twilight and Hunger Games.

    Thanks for the international giveaway!!

  7. When I read, I don’t even think if these books are banned or not. I usually find out later, that this books has been banned. Then I’m thinking: Why? I don’t understand the banning of prohibiting books.

  8. My favourite banned books include Are You There God? It’s Me Margaret, A Wrinkle in Time, Harry Potter, Of Mice and Men, and Twilight!

  9. I have too many favorites to list…books are like old friends, how do you pick just one?! They all appeal based upon where you are in life, or how you feel that year, day, ..moment 🙂

  10. Probably the Harry Potter series, but I haven’t checked the lists recently, most of the books I enjoy have probably been banned for some reason or another.

  11. I’d have to say Harry Potter, hands down. I’ve read those books too many times and I can’t even remember how many times I’ve watched the movies, haha.

  12. There are so many wonderful books that have made the list, but I think my favorite was Farenheit 451
